Four Hanoian specialities proposed for Asian record
The Vietnam Record Organization has made profiles on four special foods
of Hanoi, pho, bun cha, bun thang and cha ca La Vong, to challenge for
the Asian record.
Among 57 Asian countries and territories, Vietnam is considered to have a unique and diversified gastronomic culture. Traditional dishes combining modern processes and some secret ingredients create the unique attraction of Vietnamese food.
Gastronomy is considered as a great Vietnamese strength in attracting tourists.This year, the Vietnam Record Organization held activities to raise awareness of Vietnamese specialities and those seeking particular recognition to the ASEAN Record Organization, Asian Record Organization and Guinness World Record Organization.
The Vietnam Record Organization proposed 15 famous foods to Asia Record Organization for approval in September. Four of 15 special foods are in Hanoi.
