The 2012 International East-West Economic Corridor (EWEC) Trade and

Ho Dynasty Citadel now World Cultural Heritage
The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation
(UNESCO) on June 16 presented a certificate to Vietnam, officially
recognising the Ho Dynasty Citadel as the World Cultural Heritage.

Imperial Citadel to become historical park
The Hoang Dieu Archaeological Site and the ancient Thang Long Imperial
Citadel in Hanoi are to become a cultural and historical park to promote

Famous Ca Tru singer to treat Hanoi audience
Pho Thi Kim Duc, famous for singing “Ca tru” (ceremonial songs) and the
only remaining “Ca tru” singer from the well-known Kham Thien Ca tru
group in the past, will perform at the French Cultural Centre on June 13
in Hanoi.

Huge Vietnam flag, made of pottery, created on Truong Sa
A national flag made from pieces of pottery was inaugurated on the
Truong Sa (Spratly) Island District in Khanh Hoa Province yesterday
(June 6).
The unique flag is located on the top of the hill on Truong Sa Lon Island, part of the Truong Sa archipelago in the East Sea.
