Measuring 38 meters (125 feet) long and 8 meters (23 feet) wide, our custom-built wooden junk features three decks, all outfitted with elegant Asian inspired decor. The lower deck is devoted to Passenger Cabins, with sleeping space for 20 people. The Reception, Restaurant, Ginger Bar, Gift Shop and Library are all located on the main deck. On the top deck passengers will find the Sunset Bar and a spacious lounge area, perfect for our morning Tai Chi classes, weekend BBQs and sunset cocktails. Guests are welcome to make use of our binoculars, snorkeling equipment, and top-of-the-line Canadian made Seaward kayaks.
Restaurant
A pleasant ambiance, attentive staff and great views make our restaurant the perfect place to sample the exotic delights of Vietnamese cuisine. Guests can look forward to lavish international breakfast buffets, casual, sit-down lunches of Vietnamese dishes, and formal dinners with delectable fusion cuisine. All dishes are prepared to please both the eye and the palate. Special BBQ dinners are served on the Sundeck on weekends, or upon a group’s request
Itinerary 2 days 1 night
Day 1 : Hanoi - Halong Ginger Cruise (L, D)
08:30AM pick up at your hotel in Hanoi, depart for Ha Long Bay - the World Heritage Site on a comfortable 3 and a half hour drive by private vehicle passing the nice countryside of the Red River Delta En route, we stop on the way for short break and photo.
12:00-12:30PM: On arrival in Halong pier, we will be met by captain and cruise and transferred to our deluxe junk. Welcome aboard and set sail through bay while lunch is served. Passage into the magical bay, where thousands of sculpted limestone islands rise from the waves like dragons’ teeth.
After lunch, take a short trek to a nearby summit for a panoramic view of the bay dotted with golden sails, go swimming on a quite beach or sunbathing on the sundeck. Later afternoon, visit an interesting fishing village with opportunity to interact with fishmen who have been living in the bay for almost three generations.
Back on board and enjoy cocktails while watching sunset and later unwind at restaurant for a lavish dinner
Day 2: Halong Bay – Hanoi (Brunch)
Greet the day with a morning Tai Chi exercise with an opportunity to view the sunrise over the bay. After breakfast, visit beautiful limestone grotto then back to the boat for a final glimpse of the Halong Bay while cruising back to the dock. The car and driver will pic k up you, transfer back Hanoi. Drop off at your hotel in Hanoi. End of tour.
