Itinerary in Details:
Day 1: Hanoi arrival
Arrival at Noi Bai Airport, Welcome and transfer to hotel by Asia View Travel guides with signboard, check in, relax. Overnight at hotel in Hanoi.
Day 2: Hanoi – Halong – Hanoi (B, L)

Breakfast at hotel. Then 8:30 AM start a 3.5 hour drive through the Red River Delta to Ha Long City. Comfort stop en route for photos and coffee before arriving to Ha Long City. Arrive in Halong, We then transfer to the sailing junk for a 4 hour cruise through the limestone cliffs and emerald waters of Ha Long Bay, giving us the chance to take in the stunning scenery of this World Heritage Site. Cruising around the Bay with famous sites such as: Fighting cock's islet, Stone dog or Joss stick bowl islet. Round walking to visit beautiful stalactites which have been formed millions of years ago, exploring some of the limestone caves in this area. |
Back to the Junk boat and keep cruising to view fabulous scenery of Halong bay. While on board we will be served a sumptuous fresh, local seafood lunch. Afternoon, transfer back to Hanoi, check in, relax. Overnight at hotel in Hanoi.
Day 3: Hanoi – Sapa night train (B, L)
This morning we start city tour with the Ho Chi Minh Complex. This famous site contains the mausoleum of the nation’s founder Ho Chi Minh (Close on Monday, friday & November), the Presidential Palace and the Ho Chi Minh’s house on stilts. Close to this complex is the One Pillar Pagoda, whose origins date back to the foundation of city. We follow this with the impressive Ethnology Museum, dedicated to Vietnam's 54 ethnic groups. Afternoon visit the Temple of Literature, which is well known as the first university of Vietnam, the Restored Sword Lake (Hoan Kiem Lake) and Ngoc Son Temple. Do a walking tour around the 36 streets of the Hanoi old quarter to learn more about simple life of Hanoian. Enjoy water puppet show before transfer to the train station for night train to Sapa. Overnight on train.
Day 4: Sapa – Catcat village (B, L)

The train arrives at the Lao Cai train station at approximately 06:00. There will be a vehicle and tour guide waiting to transfer us to Sapa. The drive to Sapa is only 33 km but it takes around 1.5 hours to make our way up the mountains. Arrive Sapa and enjoy breakfast at the hotel ( There will be surcharge if require early check in ). We then do a tour to the hill tribe villages of Cat Cat, and Sansaho village home to the H'mong hill tribes minority peoples. As we walk to the villages nestled in the valley below Sapa, we will meet some of the local minority people on their way to and from Sapa. Here we have the opportunity to share cultural experiences with the families that live in the area. Overnight at hotel in Sapa

Day 5: (Sunday) Sapa – Bac ha market – night train Back Hanoi (B, L)
Breakfast at hotel, pick up and transfer to Bacha Market, Arrive after 2 hours. Free time for visiting one of the most colorful market in the world, Lunch. Visit one village and an old building called The H'mong king's house. Breakfast and the beginning of the day on which you visit a big market filled with many different hill-tribe peoples. This is the most colorful market in North Vietnam. At the market, you have chance to enjoy BacHa people's simple but unique kinds of food with special wines made from rice, cassavas, corn and different sorts of fruits such as plumps, apples, peaches... talking to the minorities through the guide's interpretation. Leave the market for the H'mong King's house (King Hoang A Tuong) built by the French colonists and the Chinese in 1920. Return the town for lunch. In the afternoon, spend time visiting another village (BanPho village) Say good bye to BacHa and get back to Lao Cai. Take the night train back to Hanoi. Overnight on train.
Day 6: Hanoi – Hoalu – Tam coc – Hanoi (B, L)
Arrival in Hanoi in the early morning at round 5:00 am. Please find your way by foot back to a mini hotel near the Tran Quy Cap station gate to have shower and basic set menu breakfast.
8;00 AM drive to Tam Coc, arrived in Tam Coc at approx. 10:00AM. Visit Hoa Lu Temple, the ancient citadel of Vietnam in 10th century. Enjoy a trek to the King Dinhs Tomb on a terraced hillside and gaze down at the ancient capital in the beautiful Truong Yen Valley below. PM take a board sampans at Tam Coc to ferry down the Boi river. The boat goes through 3 cavernous limestone tunnels, offering a cool break from the sunshine and astounding views of the cave structures. Drive back to Hanoi.
Day 7: Hanoi departure (B)
Breakfast at hotel, free time until transfer to the airport for your departure flight. Say goodbye Vietnam.
